1. Purpose and Objective
This policy details the operational checkpoints required to register, authorize, and evaluate downstream transport providers. Our objective is to limit supply chain vulnerabilities, protect client shipments, and ensure full compliance with UK transport laws.
2. Mandatory Vetting Requirements
No haulier will receive freight bookings without providing verified proof of the following digital compliance credentials:
- Operating Authority: A current, valid UK Operator’s License (O-License) checked directly against DVSA registries.
- Goods in Transit (GIT) Insurance: Indemnity coverage matching standard RHA terms (minimum £50,000 per tonne) or explicit CMR provisions for international routing.
- Public & Employer Liability: Clear insurance indemnification protecting cargo operations against third-party claims or loading area incidents.
3. Continuous Performance Monitoring
Our operations desk reviews partner metrics dynamically. Subcontractors who present transit delays, uncooperative driver behavior, or clear safety issues face automated system blocks until management clears the profile.
